About Chilton Logging Inc.
Chilton logging is owned and operated by Craig and Robin Chilton. Craig has 30 years experience working in logging business. They are also privileged to have their son Josh work along with them.
Past
Craig is the fourth generation in a family that has made its living in the Timber Industry. Two of Craig's great grandfathers began their logging careers utilizing the earliest in logging technology...a team of horses and a steam donkey.

Today Chilton Logging Inc. can address all harvesting needs. We have a wide range of equipment that can undertake any type of terrain and size or species of tree. The company takes full advantage of the latest technology in logging machinery by updating our equipment regularly. For a complete list of available machinery please see the equipment inventory page.
We currently have approximately fifty employees. They are highly skilled to offer an exceptional level of service. Due to the hazardous conditions that can occur on logging sites, safety is the utmost priority for our employees. Second is our commitment to excellence in the quality of work that we provide.
Our goal is to help the Land Owner manage their timber stand to reach its full potential and to receive the maximum value for their investment at the time of harvest. We can help determine the feasibility for pre-commercial thinning, as well as identify and protect the RMZ's that are located around streams and wetlands. We are also able to assist in post harvest replanting. Chilton logging has a forester on staff that can assist the land owner through all stages of forest management.
Craig Chilton is an Accredited Logging Professional. Chilton logging Inc. is currently a certified member of Sustainable forest Initiative. We are also Accredited Members of Washington Contract Loggers Association and members of the Washington Farm Forestry Association.
